IITK-KGMU SIB SHInE

The SIB-SHInE Biodesign program serves as a springboard for launching, redirecting, or accelerating a career in health technology and biomedical innovation. SIB SHInE program utilizes an interdisciplinary approach to assemble a team of fellows that tackle some of today’s most pressing clinical and biomedical needs and catalyze innovation in medical device, diagnostic and digital health. Fellows will receive curated instructions and mentorship throughout the program from the task force mentors, course instructors and industry professionals with core domain expertise across the healthcare ecosystem.

SIB SHInE Biodesign Process

The program is based on the philosophy of 4Cs ie.., Clinical Immersion, Conception, Creation and Corroborations.

SIB SHInE fellows will follow a four-stage development process that forms the cornerstone of their entrepreneurial journey. The year-long fellowship will provide the fellows an in-depth understanding of biomedical product development – from the identification of clinical opportunities to the initiation of a new venture.
